WHAT TO BRING
You all have packed a suitcase so I will not provide an extensive list below but here are some Irish-specific recommendations and other important reminders.

-
Passport - make sure it doesn’t expire within 6 months of travel!
-
Copy of Passport in separate safe location- I usually send a scan to my email
-
Any travel documents (i.e., plane tickets, hotel reservations, car rental reservations, etc.)
-
Travel Insurance Information (if you bought some)
-
100 Euros cash
-
Driver’s License & Ireland Map if plan on renting a car (although a map may be provided)
-
Plug Adapter (and possibly converter) - This is one I recommend. See “Things to Know” to learn more about this.
-
A pair of hiking/walking shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty
-
Windproof and waterproof jacket
-
Variety of shirts that you can layer, including at least one sweater - it can get cold!
-
Even though it is the summer, bring pants/jeans!
-
General Medications in original bottles with labels
-
Of course, Band Aids, Pain Reliever (Tylenol/Aspirin) and Imodium/Pepto-Bismol
-
Umbrella - although if it is windy best to keep it closed
-
Swimsuit - some of the hotels I have recommended have swimming pools/spas or you may want to brave the Irish sea. There are some great places to swim around Dublin and Wicklow.
-
No need for the hair dryers - most of the accommodations have hair dryers but the Irish don't usually keep them in the bathroom. Look for the hair dryer in a dressing table drawer, bedside table, or a closet.
-
Journal/Notebook to record your travels
-
Wedding attire! (Ladies, if you’d like to do as the Irish do, please bring your festive fascinator or if you don’t yet have one and would like one this may be a fun souvenir!)
-
Extra space for your souvenirs! (Also would be good to bring along some empty plastic bags for any liquid products you might want to return with)

If you have forgotten anything, the Irish are very friendly and helpful so do not hesitate to ask your hotel's front desk for assistance!
